Join us at the library for a Children's Program during a Parenting Class by FYI (Family and Youth Initiatives) of New Carlisle!

Guiding Good Choices will cover topics like:

Importance of Family Meetings
Specific actions that promote healthy development
Strategies to build family connections

Join us on September 6th and start learning ASL (American Sign Language) with our instructor Sam Graybill! This class will be 6 days starting Wed. Sep. 6th and will continue Fri. Sep. 8th, Mon. Sep. 11th, Wed. Sep. 13th, Fri. Sep 15th, and end on Mon. Sep 18th. All classes will be from 4:30-5:30pm. If you're interested in attending please call the library so we can sign you up! Or feel free to stop in and sign yourself up in the adult programs binder! We hope to see you there!

Meet the Beekeeper
Friday, October 6 at 2:00 p.m.

Dive into the hive with Al Tuttle during this fun family event!
If the temperature is above 60, Mr. Tuttle will bring a frame out of an active hive for observation, which will show what it looks like inside a hive, including bees. (It is all enclosed so it is safe.)

There will be a short 10 minute video about beekeeping and other opportunities to learn more about the craft. Stop in and see what all the buzz is about! {Free; all ages.}

Boos, Books & Barks at the Park
Best Friends Pet Assisted Therapy will once again host Trick-or-Treat along the Tecumseh Trail!
Join us on Friday, October 13 from 4:30-6:00 p.m. for Trick-or-Treat, a costume contest, and a StoryWalk®.
Costumes are welcomed, but not required. You'll find us close to the Log Shelter House at Smith Park, 801 W. Jefferson St., New Carlisle, Ohio. Many thanks to the wonderful volunteers at Best Friends Pet Assisted Therapy.
