This program will meet at the New Carlisle Public Library.
Everyone is welcome to attend this live animal presentation.

There are oceans of possibilities, when you start discovering the cool adaptations of our native Ohio wildlife!  During this hands-on program, participants will enjoy a close encounter with a midland painted turtle, tiger salamander and big brown bat!  Did you know that the midland painted turtle got its name because the markings on its shell look as though it was hand painted?  Or that a salamander breathes through its moist skin?!  Did you know that one bat can eat 1,000 insects each night - that would be like us eating 50 pizzas?!  Children are sure to be inspired as they discover more about these amazing creatures through live encounters, cool props and hands-on educational fun!
