Outdoor Garden Storytime with Beth!
COME JOIN US at garden storytimes! Age appropriate stories are read to children sitting on a blanket beside the garden (or on the library's front patio). An activity in the garden is completed after the story.
Garden Story Times will continue through August, until school starts again. There are two separate age groups: toddlers and preschool up to kindergarten (young children) and those going into first grade and above (school age). Teenagers are welcome to help with both groups. You do not have to sign up for the garden program, just show up.
Young children meet on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays at 10:00 a.m. and school age meet on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays at 10:00 a.m. Rainouts will be rescheduled the following Monday at 10:00 a.m. You can choose to attend as many as you wish. No commitment necessary. All produce goes to the food bank.
If you have children in both age groups, you can bring all your children to all garden storytimes. Just be aware that the 2nd and 4th weeks will probably be more difficult for children not yet in school.
