Join us at the library for a Children's Program during a Parenting Class by FYI (Family and Youth Initiatives) of New Carlisle!

Guiding Good Choices will cover topics like:

Importance of Family Meetings
Specific actions that promote healthy development
Strategies to build family connections

Author Panel: Book Publishing 101

On September 16, 2017, the library will host a panel of local authors to discuss book publishing.  If you are interested in getting your voice heard, the group will discuss the process of how to get your work published, covering both self-publishing and traditional publishing.

Ghost Hunting

If you are into ghosts or like the idea of ghost hunting, plan on joining a group of ghost hunters on October 14 or October 15, 2017.  Each group of 10 will meet at the library prior to the event to discuss the tools and techniques of ghost hunting.  Then, the participants will go to a haunted house and begin the adventure of collecting evidence of ghosts.  Participants must preregister and sign a waiver to participate.  Please note that the starting and stopping time for this program is tentative; call for updated information.
