Coal Mining

One of the main themes in The Widows is the unionizing of the coal miners.  Mike Cook will discuss what it is like to be a coal miner.

1924 Dinner
March 26, 2020, 5:00-6:00 p.m.

Come have dinner 1924 Appalachian style!  Ham and beans, cornpone, pie and tea.

Being a Female Sheriff in a Man's World
April 9, 2020, 6:00-7:00 p.m.

Deb Burchett will discuss what it is like being a female Sheriff.
